Project Management

Base Station Commissioning & Integration

PSIE has been actively involved in some of the largest Telecommunication rollout projects around the world. PSIE technicians have demonstrated their capabilities in installation, commissioning and integration of 2G and 3G base station equipment. We have teams deployed across Australia with the capability to test, collate data, fault find in order to provide our customers with full network support.

In addition we can implement parameter, hardware changes and upgrades with our aim being to improve coverage, capacity and quality of service.

Microwave Installation and Commissioning

PSIE specialise in installation and commissioning teams. We have worked on microwave equipment (PDH/SDH), dishes ranging in sizes from 0.3 metres to 4.6 metres over a full spectrum of frequencies and manufacturers.  PSIE has specialty teams to carry out line of site surveys.

Site Design

PSIE has consulted on over 500 telecommunication sites across a variety of regions, each with their own specific state legislation and local planning needs.

PSIE provides civil engineering recommendations such as site clearing, site layout, access during construction, appropriate foundation needs, structural design of new components and assessment of existing infrastructure & buildings, security fencing and landscaping.

Tower Design, Fabrication and Erection

PSIE can design, supply and install a structure to meet your loading and location requirements whether it is a monopole, a free standing, or guyed lattice structure. If required, specialist one-off structures can be designed, fabricated and installed to customer requirements.

Site Construction

The PSIE team can deliver your site in the shortest possible time frame, from green field to roof top, from the civil elements to testing and commission antenna and ret systems.

Tower Installation and Rigging

PSIE has dedicated teams of riggers/tower builders, strategically located throughout Australia. Our installation teams are multi-functional, and receive regular up to date training to further develop their skills and awareness.

Preventative and Emergency Maintenance

PSIE can keep your operation running on planned maintenance visits.  We can complete a full site audit inclusive of tower climb. Our customers can expect to receive a written report complete with CAD drawing of the existing site layout. As part of our report we will make recommendations for any necessary remedial works, and offer an emergency response service to deal with problems as they occur.

PSIE utilises the latest up to date technology and equipment within its portfolio of ongoing projects to help its clients receive undisputable and reliable site confirmation data.

SPAA05 Software Tool & Equipment

The Spaa05 optimisation tool is a GPS based antenna alignment tool, which comes with a software program and handheld PDA system control unit.  It has the benefit of fast transferable computer based results with a very high degree of accuracy in field operations.

The benefits of the optimisation tool are in its ability to provide the customer with total orientation and azimuth accuracy to less than 1 deg on each cell.
